Keeping your profile up-to-date (such as your name, email, and other details) ensures your account information is correct. You can edit your profile directly on the portal:
Access Profile Settings: Click your name on the top right of the screen to open the dropdown menu, then select My Profile.
Edit Profile Details: On the My Profile page, you can edit fields like first name, last name, and potentially other fields such as title, organization, etc., depending on what the portal uses. Simply click into each field to update the information.
Change Email (if needed): If your platform allows changing the login email, you can enter a new email address in the email field. Be cautious, as changing your email will change how you log in.
Update Profile Picture: If the option is available, you can upload a profile photo. Look for an avatar icon or Add profile picture area. Click it and select an image file from your device to upload.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): For added security, illuxiLMS supports two-factor authentication. In your profile settings, you may find an option to enable two-factor (often via an authenticator app or SMS). Toggle this on and follow the prompts if you wish to set up 2FA.
Save Changes: After making changes, scroll down and click the Save button (or Save changes) to apply them. Ensure you see a confirmation that your profile was updated.
Once saved, your profile updates take effect immediately. For example, if you changed your email, you will use the new email on your next login. Updating your name will reflect on certificates and in communications. Enabling 2FA will add an extra verification step at login, enhancing your account security.
If any field is not editable or you need to correct something like your name but cannot, contact your portal administrator – some information might be locked for editing by users (especially if accounts are managed centrally).
