Maintaining a secure password and knowing how to reset it if forgotten is important. illuxiLMS provides easy options for both resetting a forgotten password and changing your password when logged in:
If You Forgot Your Password (Password Reset):
If you cannot remember your password to log in:Go to the portal’s login page.
Click the “Forgot password” link below the login form.
Enter the email address associated with your account and submit the form.
Check your email inbox for a password reset email from illuxiLMS. It will contain a Reset Password button or link.
Click the reset link, which will open a secure page to set a new password. Choose a new strong password and confirm.
Submit the new password. You can now log in with the new credentials.
Note: The reset link is time-sensitive for security. If it expires, repeat the steps to get a new email. Check your spam folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes.
If You Know Your Password (Change Password when Logged In):
If you are logged in and want to change your current password:Click on your name at the top right corner of the portal, and select My Profile from the dropdown menu.
On your profile page, look for the option to change password. This is typically a section or button labeled “Change Password” or fields to enter a new password.
Enter your current password (for verification) if prompted, then enter the new password you wish to set. Follow any password guidelines shown (like minimum characters or required numbers/symbols).
Save your changes. Make sure to click the Save button after entering the new password. A confirmation message may appear indicating the password update was successful.
After changing your password, use the new password on your next login. It’s good practice to choose a unique, strong password that you don’t use elsewhere. If at any point you have trouble with these steps or don’t receive the reset email, reach out to support for assistance.
