illuxiLMS allows you to customize various aspects of your portal’s interface to match your organization’s branding and preferences. This can include logos, colors, and certain layout options. To customize the portal interface:
Go to Preferences/Settings: In the Admin Portal, navigate to the Preferences or Settings section. Look for a menu item like Portal Settings, Appearance, or Customization.
Open Customization Options: Click on Preferences (or the relevant sub-tab for branding). This will display fields and options you can edit.
Edit Branding Elements: Common customization options include:
Portal Name: The display name of your portal (often shown in headers or emails).
Logo Upload: You can upload your organization’s logo to replace the default logo. There might be options for a main logo and a login page logo.
Colors and Theme: Set primary and secondary colors for the interface (e.g., menu bar, buttons, links). Some systems let you input hex color codes or select from a color picker.
Backgrounds/Banners: If applicable, upload images for login page background or dashboard banner.
Custom CSS or Themes: Advanced option – some platforms allow adding custom CSS or selecting a theme template.
Footer Text: Edit any footer or welcome text to reflect your org’s info.
Preview Changes: As you make changes, check the preview (if available) to see how it looks. Ensure logos are not cut off and colors have sufficient contrast for readability.
Save Changes: Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click Save or Apply. The portal will update with your new branding. You may need to refresh the page or clear cache to see all changes.
Verify in User View: It’s a good idea to switch to the regular user view (or open the portal in another browser where you’re not logged in as admin) to verify that the branding changes appear as expected for end users.
Customizing your interface helps provide a seamless experience for users – it will feel like your own company’s platform. Make sure the logo is high resolution and the colors align with your brand guidelines. If something doesn’t save, check that your file sizes meet any requirements and that you clicked Save at the end of the form (sometimes the page might require scrolling to find the save button).
